Colleagues at Kingston kindly donated prizes and baked goods for an office raffle and bake sale on Friday 29 September 2023.
Raffle prizes consisted of alcohol, sweets and chocolate, while the bake sale offered both savoury and sweet options.
There was also a bottle of prosecco up for grabs in a ‘guess how many dog treats in the jar’ competition (the jar of treats will of course be donated to the shelter too).
Over £200 was raised and donated to Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter – a fantastic effort that will be much appreciated as winter approaches and more supplies are needed to warm the shelter, which has recently made the difficult decision to operate from a single site and close their Claremont Road shelter.
