Kingston and Living Spaces, which together comprise Bernicia Commercial will have a fresh new look as they continue with bold plans for growth as part of North East housing association, Bernicia Group.

Bernicia Commercial employs 95 people and its core business is providing block and private estate management, which is the Kingston brand, while Living Spaces provide a full lettings, sales and property management service across the North East. Between them, they manage over 21,000 private units over 550 sites.

In 2019, its £1 million profit was gifted to the Bernicia Group, some of which has funded the Bernicia Foundation – a charity aimed at helping people in the North East realise their ambitions.

Both Kingston and Living Spaces have ambitious plans for growth, starting with a fresh new look for both brands. It may be small changes to the look and feel but incorporating the Bernicia-style ‘n’ brings a visual link to the work they all do as part of the Bernicia Group. And the new colours have been chosen to complement the group’s existing branding.

We’ve created videos featuring Kingston and Living Spaces people that tell the story of the businesses and the services they provide. You can watch these here:

Colin Ord, director at Bernicia Commercial, said: “While the way we look may have changed, our sense of purpose remains the same; to put people and places at the heart of everything we do, supporting the work of our parent company, Bernicia, to enhance and ultimately, help transform our region.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work that we do at Kingston and Living Spaces and thankful for the employees, the partnerships, and clients that have accompanied us in our growth. As we roll out our updated brand both internally and externally, we’re confident it’ll support our bold plans for continued growth as part of the Bernicia Group.”
